Ryan Carter
|
Ryan got his start in Collectible Card Games, where he was a feared tournament competitor. Ryan's tournament success in the CCG world earned him many opportunities to help develop many of the most successful CCGs in the industry. Much like David Williams and others in the CCG world, he made the transition to poker with immediate success.
After winning $15 in a freeroll tournament in 2002 Ryan began to turn that money into a bankroll. A few years later, without ever depositing a single dollar, he quit his job to play poker for a living. He has been playing poker professionally for over 4 years, still on house money from that original $15. Ryan won the Full Tilt Online Poker Series Event #9 recently for $41,850.
Ryan's strengths include mid-stakes 6-max NL cash games, MTT tournaments, and mastering the mental game. |

Jared is a 21 year old college student who has been playing poker since June 2005. He built his bankroll jumping from site to site and collecting bonuses. He was only a break even player until he met a group of players at his school who were doing well for themselves online. After watching them play and using the group to massively improve his skills something finally clicked, and he started to crush the mid-stakes games.
This last summer poker was his job and he made about 8k playing 50NL and 100NL for 15-20 hours a week. He will be graduating this May and is going to spend some time playing professionally until he goes back to grad school to become a physical therapist.
In his videos he will focus on the following strengths of his game: Controlling tilt, pot control, adjusting to table conditions, table selection, and how to handle yourself when poker is your only source of income. |
